Since starting Noosa Stories in August 2017 I have met and interviewed some incredible, inspiring Noosa locals. After their interview, some guests who own businesses have embedded their podcast episode on to their website and have shared it on social media. These people have not only increased their brand exposure, they’ve actually also attracted new customers!
This is what I love about podcasting - it’s a great way to share a personal side of your business and to remove the pressure of ‘the sale’. By telling your story you can show real authenticity which is a great way to generate trust with your clients and create a deeper connection. As we all know … with so much competition out there, people don’t buy the products you sell, they buy you!
Yenny Stromgren - Creator and host of Noosa Stories
Here is what some of our guests had to say:
"As digital marketing and communication becomes more and more important for small businesses, Yenny’s Noosa Stories podcast interview gave us an opportunity to let people know more about our company and us. By telling a little of our story it also helped our local profile and let customers know we are here for them. It was a brilliant way to add substance to our business in a very personal and professional manner.”
“Yenny is an amazing I interviewer! She is relaxed, sensitive, fun and has a way of asking the most interesting questions that really drew out the essence of who I am and what I do... I loved doing this interview! I also love that that listeners are included in the conversation in a really intimate way. I had a blast and the cherry on top was that people love listening, can relate to my story and have moved through to becoming clients after listening. I have also gone on to start producing my own podcast after doing her awesome online training course. Thank you so much for helping me grow personally and professionally Yenny!"
“Anyone featured should use their podcast as marketing tool. It's fantastic and very valuable. There is more awareness around Life Beyond 30 and it has given women more clarity about what we do and why. Listening back made me feel proud and gave me some more drive to keep going.”
The Noosa Stories podcast is growing from strength to strength, and as a result the guest spot on our regular Friday episode is booked up for the next 5 months! I am therefore starting a second weekly episode, a "podvertorial". This will be an affordable paid spot aimed at giving local businesses and entrepreneurs the opportunity to share their stories. *Please note, to become a guest on our show your business has to operate in the Noosa Shire. If uncertain, I am just an email or phone call away.

Here is some more lovely feedback from our guests!
More happy guest testimonials!
“Where are my online marketing friends at? Podcast is the new blog in my opinion. People have time to listen whilst driving, exercising or working! So if you have something share (don’t we all) you should be looking at starting your own podcast! Recently I was interviewed for a podcast by a local superstar who has not only interviewed lots of amazing people, but she has created an awesome online course too. My interview is now the #3 most listen to interview on Noosa Stories. I never would have imagined that people would want to know my story, but clearly they do! What you should take from that? That there is probably lots of people who’d like to hear YOUR story and what you have to share!”
“I love connecting with Yenny, she is a breath of fresh air. I didn’t realise how spiritually aligned and attuned she was until that day in the kitchen with her. Yenny is now a regular Zenko client and inevitably this connection has drawn like-minded yogis to our studios. I also run networking events at Zenko which sees a crossover of clients, sharing the messages even further.”
